D&D 5e Magic-Item Over View| Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition Dungeons Masters Guide

    Veröffentlicht am 21.01.2015

Nerdarchy gives their first impression of magic items in 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons.
We touch on most the changes briefly and point out some of the things we really like.
We also go into some of the changes that are throw backs to previous edition
of dungeons and dragons as well as point out the 5e D&D magic item changes.
Dungeons & Dragons- Magic Item Availability| D&D Discussions

    Veröffentlicht am 12.04.2016

Time for another magic item discussion.
Another Dungeon Master wants to know how to have wizards that fill the role of crafters of magic items.
At the same time the DM wants to explain why magic items aren't common place.
We try to give different rationals that will work in a fantasy campaign setting.

Was nützt es, wenn wir mehrere Sprachen sprechen,
solange wir nicht die Geduld aufbringen,
    einander zuzuhören...

Adding Artifacts in Your Dungeons & Dragons Game| Game Master Tips

    Veröffentlicht am 02.06.2016

We had a fellow Game Master ask us about introducing artifacts into their D&D game.
An artifact is an uber cool magic item and it can be tempting as the Dungeon Master
to want plop them into your 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons game like any other piece of treasure.
But we as Game Masters realize it's a horrible idea for a D&D campaign world.

It also helps you know what items a character above 1st level should start off with. Download it for free!

D&D and Magic- How to Add it To Your Game| GM 911

        Veröffentlicht am 07.07.2016

Another Game Master needs help with a GM 911 involving adding magic to the world.
He want's there to be no magic in his 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons campaign at the beginning and than introduce it as the adventures unfold.
The warlock, wizard, cleric, bard, druid, sorcerer, and other spell casters would have to be the first to discover and figure our how to cast spells.
So in our typical nerdarchy way we lay down some Dungeon Master knowledge.

Creating Magical Items ! (GM Tips w/ Matt Mercer)

          Veröffentlicht am 17.11.2016
Critical Role's Dungeonmaster Matt Mercer is here with another installment of GM Tips!

Part of any great campaign is having custom items in your arsenal, but before you do,
you'll need to consider the enchantment levels, distribution rules, and more.

(5E D&D) How to Create Custom Magic Weapons

              Veröffentlicht am 05.12.2016
There are not many guidelines to go off of when creating your own, custom magic items in 5E D&D.
In this video we walk through the process of creating a magical weapon, the Fury of the Dragon,
discussing what sort of effects and abilities you can add to weapons, how powerful they should be,
what rarity they should be considered and when you should give them to your players,
as well as a few other important considerations to keep in mind when designing your own magic items.

                Veröffentlicht am 13.01.2017
In this video we go through the steps to create magic items in 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons.
These steps are taken directly from the Dungeon Master's Guide and are the baseline
by which the developers intend magic items to be crafted by.

The 5E D&D Players Handbook and Dungeon Masters Guide are full consumable magic items
for players to use and game masters to drop into their games.
If you are short on your cleric or wizard for the gaming session these can be life savers.
Or perhaps they will just give the adventuring party the boost they need for a really tough encounter.
