Having returned some of the objects which were stolen by the Orc band to the Temple of Tyr,
the party ventures to Bryn Shander, alongside Sir Baric Nylef, knight of Tyr.
The Orcs warned of the Giants coming soon to attack and conquer all the North
and Bryn Shander is the place to go to see if such rumours have any base in reality...

Note: This is the first "official" session of the campaign, though it is the second we've played with this group.
I ran an adventure of my own creation our first session to help lay the groundwork for what was to come.
This session was not recorded.

After the noble sacrifice of Sirac to save the town of Bryn Shander from a Frost Giant assault a strange voice was heard in the sky.
Decending from the clouds above a tower, complete with wizard's hat on top, hovered over the stunned onlookers.
The voice asked for our party to come and join in, for he had a great need of their help...

After seeing to the defense of Goldenfields the party offers their help to the town and are first asked to help heal the sentient tree Lifferlas.
To do so they must seek out the tree’s creator, an elf named Aerglas who was last seen heading into the woods east of town.
The party explores the forest and meets up with a forlorn satyr named Greenwhistle, moaning his lost love,
and a ranger named Tharra, who leads them to Aerglas.

Aerglas, they discover, is transfixed by the idea of creating a new world by allowing nature to rise up and destroy the old.
Whether he is confused or conscious of this is uncertain but the destruction comes all the same.
The party battles his magic and servants, including the satyr’s love Eleinomae, killing her and forcing Aerglas to end his spell and retreat.
With the staff in hand the party returns to Goldenfields and heals Lifferlas and must decide what to do next from the many choices before them.

The party begins their journey to Grudd Haug, fortress of the Hill Giants, taking the river route through the Dessarin Valley.
After two days they discover a tower and a moaning coming from it. Within they find Moog, a hill giant mourning the loss of her husband.
Also within the party battles the will of Bodana, ending in his banishment.
Moog is convinced to show you to Grudd Haug, eager to take her husband back from Chieftan Guh.
