Yep, EA have disabled the paid aspect of Ultimate Team in Belgium.
Given how Ultimate Team alone is 21% of the companies entire revenue, this is a fairly major move,
as much as their bravado would have you think otherwise.

Plus, with Origin Access Premium, it seems like EA are attempting to move to a hybrid business model of 'netflix for EA', but with near F2P microtransactions.

Black Ops 4 is the poster child for a worrying new trend in our industry:
publishers launching a game micro-transaction free, only to thoroughly cram their titles post launch.
This move deprives customers of the information they need to make an informed purchase, and allows publishers to further push the boat,
with BLOPS 4 being a full priced game with a season pass that also implements every free to play trick in the book.
