Die Selbsthilferunde für Spielleiter von D&D 5E:

    Dungeons & Dragons
    DM Support Group: Ep01

    Veröffentlicht am 09.02.2015
Dungeons & Dragons players have each other, but who do Dungeon Masters turn to when they need a little support?
Cue, the Dungeon Masters Support Group where DMs find the innovation, inspiration, and flexibility they need to get their games back under control.

In this first episode, faster than you can say, “Holy Space Stations!” the Dungeon Masters support group helps Rick explore attunements,
betting on owl bear fights, and spreading your prowess all over town.

The Dungeon Masters Guide: it comes from in here.

"Ich kann freilich nicht sagen, ob es besser wird, wenn es anders wird, aber soviel kann ich sagen: Es muß anders werden, wenn es gut werden soll."
    Georg Christoph Lichtenberg (1742 - 1799)

Was nützt es, wenn wir mehrere Sprachen sprechen,
solange wir nicht die Geduld aufbringen,
    einander zuzuhören...

    DM Support Group: Ep02

Truly mastering your dungeon can be a tough job.
In this series of three mini-movies, a group of overwhelmed Dungeon Masters join a Dungeon Masters Support Group
and take the initiative to overcome the pitfalls blocking them from taking their games to the next level.

In the second episode, Hector faces a relapse when his fellow DMs realize his snake phase sounds strikingly similar to his crocodile phase.
Meanwhile, Rick finds a spark of confidence in the new Dungeon Masters Guide.

Ah, the good old days when life behind the screen filled a Dungeon Master with inspiration, creativity and maybe a bit too much sugar.
Sometimes, being a DM can seem like one thing too many when you’re juggling your career and family (and a slower metabolism.)

In the third episode, the Dungeon Master Support Group is determined to show Mercy the tools she needs to run an amazing campaign
between Krav Maga and IPOs are literally at her fingertips. Also, Hector explores roleplaying without snakes.

Dungeons and Dragons Campaigns / My 7 Step Prep Process To D&D Campaigns
The first module I ever tried to run was Hoard Of The Dragon Queen back when it first came out.
I had no idea that it was going to be so difficult for the players
and how much extra work I would need to do even though I was using a Dungeons and Dragons module.

Since then I have run and played in a few to say the least.
Every time I run a module it is a new learning experience and I am always improving.

Todays video I share with you my 7 steps to prepping a module.

The DM Is Not A Storyteller
Dungeon Masters on message forums for years have been upset over their BBEG being taken out by players prematurely.
They were hoping the BBEG would be around for a long time only for them to be taken out in the first encounter the PCs face them.
Is this because many DMs feel they are storytellers and this is ruining their story?

In every message forum or post online where people are debating or discussing tabletop RPGs
